I enjoy working on software that enables the power of intelligent machines, ranging from control algorithms on robots that introduce agile motions to machine learning that brings us adaptive behaviors and complex reasoning. Fundamentally, I love solving applied mathematics, physics, and engineering problems.

I first studied electrical engineering and embedded systems. While in the university robotics team, I worked on a quadruped robot project and had a glance at robot modeling and control. It turns out that such study experience helped me succeed in the surgical robot field after I graduated. Now, I am learning data science to utilize data for making intelligent decisions.

Beyond engineering, I also enjoy photography, watching movies, performing arts, and reading literature and poetry. Here's my favorite quote from the film Dead Poets Society.
