I enjoy working on software that empowers intelligent machines, from control algorithms that enable agile robotic motion to machine learning that achieves adaptive behaviors and complex reasoning. At heart, I love solving problems in applied mathematics, physics, and engineering.
I originally studied electrical engineering and embedded systems. During my time on the university robotics team, I worked on a quadruped robot project and gained experience in robot modeling and control. That background later helped me succeed in the field of surgical robotics after graduation. Currently, I am studying deep learning and robotics so I can leverage data to help robots make more intelligent decisions.
